Coding for Teachers
Are you a teacher and interested in coding? Do you want to learn more about Computational Thinking? If so, then this course is for you.
The course provides an introduction to Computer Science for teachers working with school age students. It explores some of the basic principles and concepts of Computer Science and aims to help teachers introduce relevant computing activities in their own classrooms.
It shows how learning Computer Science at an early age can help to develop meta skills such as complex problem solving, logical reasoning and algorithmic thinking. A secondary aims of the course is to help introduce a more diverse range of teachers and students from different backgrounds to the benefits of coding.
